We practice baptism by submersion (completely going under water) based on examples we find in Scripture.

No. Being baptized in water does not 'provide' or guarantee salvation. We believe that being baptized in water is the next logical step of faith for a new believer after accepting Jesus as Savior as taught and exemplified in the New Testament.

Yes. This normally applies to those who may have been baptized as infants at the decision of their parents and were unable to understand the purpose and meaning of baptism, but now as an adult want to be baptized as an act of their own will and decision making with full understanding.
